Product Update: Comments & Features
We may be in lockdown, but we've been busy!
Birthday gifts. Thank you presents. Charity fundraisers. Foodbank collections. Shopping for shielded neighbours. Online gaming tournaments. Bills. Savings. Fitness classes delivered online. And even the odd hopeful holiday pot.
The lockdown hasn't stopped you lovely lot from collecting money for things you are organising. And quite right too! That's why we haven't slowed down either - we've been busy adding updates to the app and partnering with some cool campaigns.
A highly requested feature - the ability to add comments to payments.
From leaving positive messages on charity pot payments, to thanking someone for doing your shopping, being able to write a comment on your payment for the organiser to see helps keep things simple.
How are you finding the comments feature? Let us know! 🤔
We've seen a huge spike in the use of Collctiv for charity collections. From sponsored runs, to food bank appeals, the app's been put to good use. Being able to set a target amount was something that you've repeatedly asked of us - and so we built it!
We'd love to hear about your charitable endeavours - share them with us here! 😊
Tech for good ❤️
This global pandemic is a turbulent time for every person in every country. And that's why we're honoured and excited to be chosen as the funding partner for some amazing campaigns:
#SaveOurSports is a campaign to raise funds & awareness for grassroots sports clubs, whose very existence is threatened by this crisis. All funds raised will go directly to the sports clubs involved. Join the movement! ⚽🏈🎾🏀
#LocalLegends is an initiative put on by award-winning theatre company NotTooTame, and aims to bring to life stories from the frontline heroes. Backed by some incredible Northern talent, funds will go to support local north west charities.
As always, we'd love to hear from you! Any ideas, suggestions, feedback always welcome. Simply drop us a line at firstname.lastname@example.org or connect with us on our social channels.
