The game is free to use! As the organiser, you can determine if participants are required to contribute to a Collctiv pot to participate.
Do I need to create an account?
You can set up an account the first time you use the tool (via a magic-link email, no password). Guests will then be sent a link to participate but don’t need to create an account.
Can I change the questions?
Absolutely! You can add and delete prediction questions and change what’s already suggested.
How are winners decided?
Each field (date, weight, etc.) is scored separately then whoever's guess is closest to the actual value wins that field. Ties share the prize for that field. 🥳
Can a prediction be changed after submitting?
Participants can contact you (the organiser) if they need a correction, since entries are reviewed and approved by you.
How do participants find out who won?
After the baby is born, you enter the actual birth details. You can then contact the winners. Or the whole group!
How does payout of the Collctiv pot work?
You can choose to either send the whole amount to the parents-to-be, or split it between winning guests. The tool will provide a calculation only and you transfer the money from your Collctiv pot to match it.
