Sort the teacher collection without giving out your bank details

Drop the link in the class WhatsApp group. Parents tap to pay - no app download, no account needed. You see who's paid, pool the money, and get the teacher something they'll actually want instead of another mug.

No spreadsheets. No chasing. No awkward asks.

Most class reps have been there before: a spreadsheet open in one tab, their bank statement in another, waiting for parents to message "just paid!" in the group chat - and still not being sure whose surname matches which child.

  • No bank details to share - parents pay through a link, nothing else needed
  • See who's paid in real time - no cross-referencing with your bank statement
  • Money stays separate from your own account until you're ready to spend it
  • Pool enough for a proper gift card - not 30 separate boxes of chocolates

Have any questions?

Can I split the money between the teacher and the TAs?
Yes, you can choose how much to withdraw for each gift. For example, you could use part of the collection to buy gift cards directly through Collctiv and withdraw the remaining balance to your bank account to purchase a present. You decide how to split the funds (the teacher often gets a bit more, since they're doing more of the day-to-day work).
What's the best way to share the pot with the rest of the class?
Can I set a deadline so it's ready before the end of term?
Yes, you can set a payment due date and close the pot manually whenever you're ready, which stops any further payments coming in. It's worth doing this a few days before you actually plan to buy the gift so you've got time to withdraw the money and go shopping.
How can I show parents exactly how the money was spent?
You can choose to show contributors how much has been collected by setting a target for the pot , although payees can choose to remain anonymous there. You can also share what the money went on so there's no ambiguity or awkward questions later.
Can parents leave a message when they pay, to go in the card?

Brilliant app to help collection of funds for different activities and also helps keep track of money going in and out if its an ongoing collection pool.
