What is a Greetings Card? 💌

A Greetings Card is a digital group card made from the lovely messages people leave when they pay into your pot. Instead of passing a paper card around the office or chasing everyone for a signature, Collctiv gathers all those good wishes into one beautiful card that you can share with the person you’re celebrating. 🥳

It’s perfect for birthdays, leaving dos, weddings, new babies, thank yous, or any time a group wants to say something special together.

We’ve teamed up with our friends at Kindeo to bring you Greetings Cards. You don’t need a Kindeo account, as everything happens right here in Collctiv. ✨

How do I create one? 🛠️

1. Set up your pot and share the payment link as usual. When people pay in, they can leave a message. 📝
2. Open your pot and tap Create a Greetings Card.
3. Pick a design you love 🎨 and add your own cover text.
4. Choose which messages to include. You’re in charge, so you can include them all or pick your favourites.
5. Buy your card. It’s a one-off price of £5 (including VAT), paid from your pot balance, however many messages you add. 💷 We’ll create your card straight away, so by tapping buy you’re agreeing to give up your 14-day right to cancel.
6. Share it! 📲 You’ll get a link to send to the lucky recipient by email, WhatsApp or QR code.

How long will the card last? ⏳

Your card stays available, free of charge, for at least 2 years from when it was paid for or finished, whichever is later. That gives plenty of time to look back and smile. 😊 If a card is ever going to be removed after that, we’ll let you know at least 30 days before, so you can download it for free.

Who can see the card? 👀

Anyone with the card’s link can view it, so only share it with people you’re happy to see it. If someone paid into the pot without leaving a message, their name won’t appear on the card unless you choose to add it.

A few friendly reminders 💛

• Keep it kind! Cards should be suitable for the person you’re celebrating, and the usual Collctiv rules apply to everything on them.
• If you see something on a card that doesn’t look right, let us know at hello@collctiv.com and we’ll take a look.
• Once your card has been created, its price can’t be refunded. If something isn’t working as it should, get in touch and we’ll sort it out.

I left a message on a pot. Can I stop it being used on a card? 🙋

Don’t want your message on a card? No problem. Email hello@collctiv.com and we’ll stop it being used or remove it from any card it’s already on.
