Since launching in the UK in 2019, we have processed over £14million in group payments, in 62 currencies across 83 different countries. Over 320,000 users have discovered the simplicity of using our app to make plans, collect money and make purchases/bookings in over 1,100 cities around the world. As of February 2022, Collctiv is being used in 10,000 companies, 58 UK government agencies, 136 UK councils, 62 NHS trusts, 118 schools and 156 universities.

Job Description

This role will involve you supporting members of the senior team, acting as an effective gatekeeper and business partner. You will be the eyes and ears on the ground, be able to multitask and prioritise ever-changing demands in a fast-paced, scale-up environment whilst proactively identifying ways to enhance and streamline tasks to maximise efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the interface for the senior members of staff;
  • Help manage aspects of the CEO’s and CTO’s personal lives; 
  • Where appropriate, answer queries, produce responses to requests for information and field calls; 
  • Delegate and share information promptly; 
  • Manage calendars, making effective use of the individual’s time;
  • Arrange board meetings, liaising with Directors and Investors for their calendar availability;
  • Manage travel arrangements, meetings and work commitments prioritising in order of importance/deadline; 
  • Administration of team meetings including minute taking and maintaining actions; 
  • Organisation of team events and activities;
  • Preparation and collation of documents.

Skills - Desirable

  • Technologically savvy - able to confidently work on standard operating systems such as Google Docs, Google Sheets and able to quickly pick up and adapt to new technological tools that are used by the team;
  • Experience of providing administrative support to senior leaders within an organisation; 
  • A working knowledge of domestic life and the challenges it can bring to a CEO trying to balance their home and work responsibilities;
  • Knowing when to make decisions and when to seek advice; 
  • Adaptable, flexible, resilient and able to prioritise and re-prioritise on a daily basis.


Location

For the foreseeable future Collctiv will be implementing a mixed work from home / office approach. Home working is nothing new to us and Collctiv was created with flexible working in mind however this role will require you spending most of your time in our central Manchester office and Stockport to be side by side with our CEO. We will provide you with any equipment you may need to do your job. We also have an unlimited holiday policy, so you can take the time you need to do your thing outside of work.

Salary 

£27,000 plus Options Scheme.
